Entomology students looks at a container holding 51, 10-line beetles. The beetles were captured by the special light and by the students. The beetle contains only a minuscule amount of pheremones which needs to be extracted end identified in hopes of finding ways to target the beetle,. The team of Walter Leal, chair of the entomology dept at UC Davis and students position themselves before dusk and work collecting through full darkness and beyond.
