An elder member of an indigenous Cambodian farming tribe known as the Jarai, follows his grandchildren and water buffalo towards into the rice paddies his family has been farming for generations. Their cultural and economic survival remains uncertain, as evidenced by the deveopment of a rubber plantation on the horizon, because the land on which they depend was taken from them in a dubious land deal under the auspices of economic development.
