Story Summary: A family tries to cope after postpartum depression tears it apart. Michael Spangler, 52, is raising his infant son alone because his wife killed herself three months after giving birth to her first child, Johnathan Michael Spangler. The couple tried for ten years to have a baby and went through intensive infertility treatment to conceive. To the absolute shock of her family and friends, Annie Imlay-Spangler gave little warning before she drove herself to a nearby parking lot and shot herself in the head. Everyone who knows her attributes the suicide to a severe case of postpartum depression. Michael Spangler consoles his son's coughing during his morning feeding. "I didn't think my heart could have so much love," Spangler said. "My heart can't hold it all."
