The Art of Survival Irene Pinole, 76, sinks into the arms of her sister, Olga Johnson, who she hasn't seen in 65 years. Irene, who has Down syndrome, was taken from her Calistoga home at 10, and put into a state mental hospitals for 32 years. After reading an article in the Bee last week, Johnson discover that her sister was still alive. June 5, 2004
