QUIET TRANSFORMATION
Malcolm Harris, an inmate at Sierra Conservation Center, a level III security prison in Jamestown, quietly reads the bible in his cell, Tuesday, May 25, 2004. Harris is a part of the prison's ministry program called 40 days of purpose based on the book "Purpose Driven Life." The Jamestown prison became the first in the country to implement a Christian self-help program that has been credited with a 50% decrease in prison violence.
